Are feeling stuck and like a victim in your environment?
You can't expect things to change if your environment is controlling your feelings and thoughts. Many of us believe that we are powerless over the circumstances, but we always have the power to choose how we are going to react.
Everyone faces trials and when something happens the normal reaction is feeling hurt but that does not mean you are stuck or make you a victim. While we can't control everything in life, we can control the way we react. We can choose to be angry and feel frustrated when it doesn't change anything or we can choose to feel calm and use that time to create a list of things you are grateful for in your life. Doing this, will shift you into a happier mindset.
Any time you feel yourself slipping back into your circumstance, draw yourself back to the life that you vision to live; focus on that vision often especially when you are feeling at the mercy of your circumstances. Holding a vision for a specific result or dream, will help you stay committed. Take action towards your dreams rather than standing by feeling powerless. The smallest steps will lead you in the right direction. Focus on the progress not the results.
Create action steps, stay accountable and whenever you hit rock bottom and begin to fall in to a victim mindset ask yourself where is the hidden gold in this situation. What lessons can you learn from it that will move you toward your goals and dreams?
